POSTING & MANAGING ADS

User Registration Process
  1. Visit bajanlist.com homepage
  2. Click the “Register”button (top right corner)
  3. Complete the registration form:
    • Username
    • Email address
    • Password
    • Required profile information
  4. Submit registration
  5. Check email for confirmation/verification link
  6. Click verification link to activate account
  7. Return to site and login
User Dashboard Overview

After login, users see this menu structure:

Posting Your First Ad: Step-by-Step Process
  1. Login to your account
  2. From Dashboard, click the  “Add New Listing”button
  3. Complete the listing form:

Required Fields:

  • Category: Select appropriate category from dropdown
  • Title: Clear, descriptive title (5-10 words)
  • Description: Detailed information about the item/service
      • Include condition, features, specifications
      • Be honest and transparent
      • No personal contact info in description

Media Section:

  • Click “Upload Images”or drag-and-drop
  • Maximum files: [Insert your limit]
  • Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF

Method 1: Sequential Posting (Recommended)

  1. Login → Click ➕ “Add New Listing”
  2. Complete Form #1 → Submit
  3. Click ➕ “Add New Listing” button again
  4. Notice: Contact info auto-saves
  5. Only update: Title, Description, Photos, Category, Price
  6. Submit → Repeat for each item
  7. Final: Check Listings → Pending (confirm all received)

Method 2: Tabbed Posting (Advanced)

  1. Login to your account
  2. Right-click “Add New Listing”→ “Open in new tab”
  3. Open 3-5 tabs total
  4. Fill one form in each tab
  5. Submit all tabs
  6. Check “Listings → All”to verify all submissions

Method 3: Template-Based

  1. Create a template with your standard information
  2. Copy-paste into each new listing
  3. Only change item-specific details

Managing Your Listings

Viewing Listing Status:

  • Listings → All: Complete overview of all your ads
  • Listings → Published: Only approved/live listings

Editing Existing Listings:

  1. Go to Listings → All (or specific status category)
  2. Find the listing you want to edit
  3. Click the listing title
  4. Make necessary changes
  5. Click “Update”
  6. Note: Edited published listings may return to “Pending” for re-approval

Renewing Expired Listings:

  1. Go to Listings → Expired
  2. Find the expired listing
  3. Click “Renew”or edit and update expiration date
  4. May require republishing through approval process

Deleting Listings:

  1. Go to Listings → All
  2. Hover over listing title
  3. Click “Trash”
  4. Or open listing and select “Move to Trash”
  5. Note:Deleted listings can often be restored from trash within 30 days
